The First Ever BBQ and Beer Festival is Coming to Wolverhampton
Wolverhampton, you’re about to get lucky. Birmingham’s red-hot street food organisers are putting down roots for a season of experimental events.
Taste and Liquor launches a long-term residency at Starworks Warehouse for a daytimer like no other! Known for its hugely popular residencies at Sarehole Mill, No 21 Digbeth, SK Cash and Carry in Birmingham, The Crown in Stourbridge and The Butcher’s Social in Henley in Arden, Taste and Liquor will take over the Warehouse, every month from Saturday 16 September kicking off with The BBQ and Beer Festival.
The BBQ and Beer Festival will be taste sensation, featuring the biggest street food BBQ pioneers. Think slow cooked, – charred and smoked – meat falling off the bone that’s been marinated for 24 hours, chilled, grilled and smoked with apple chestnut woodchips, then BBQ’ed across hot burning coals and served large with a cold pint of refreshing beer.
Wet your appetite with street traders Smoking Joint (Texas Smoked and Double BBQ), Mrs Patels (Indian BBQ), Jerk Centre (Jamaican BBQ), Dicks Smokehouse (American Low and Slow) and Sticky Fig (British BBQ) From the décor to the dishes, everything about Taste and Liquor will be sure to wet the appetites of food lovers in Wolverhampton.
Visitors to the event will find BBQ Street food is made for sharing and leading brands like Kozel, Purity Beer, Pilsner Beer – and others – is the perfect beer to share it with.
The Black Country are going to get the chance to experience this great feast all day, as doors open from 1pm til 8pm. Early Bird tickets now sold, Second Release on sale now via www.the ticketsellers.co.uk and more on the door.
The organisers promise will bring their unique take on street food with monthly themed festivals championing new menus and exciting global flavours. Creating a new street food scene for Wolverhampton, 2017 is looking to be a big year for Taste and Liquor.
