Spice Street Food Market
Here we celebrate the Midlands, diverse multi-cultural community with a focus on the 15th century journey of the Spice.
Indulge in a selection of modern global street food from India and Sri Lanka brought to you by Birmingham’s top street-food organisers Taste and Liquor!
The idea is to honour the journey of our community and their land’s heritage of Spice. With menus celebrating the spice of ones chosen country, tuck into some Malaysian and Jamaican, or Trinidad, Lebanese or Italian, bites for a multi-cultural global feast.
Taste and Liquor are responsible for some of our favourite street food events around Birmingham, we’re delighted as punch, as they’ll run a special spice-themed market at Digbeth from 2.00pm to 9.00pm (last orders at 8.00pm).
This will be free to attend, which means if you fancy coming down to sample some delicious mouth watering street-food, head towards the Spice Street Food Market – Outside Arch, however please remember you’ll need a wrist band (a paid ticket) to gain access to all the day-to-evening shows in Music and Entertainment Zone 1 as part of Digbeth Mela.
*Please not Taste and Liquor are not responsible for traders lack of attendance due to problems with faulty equipment, menus being so popular their food sells out or vans breaking down on the day. We try our upmost to have the best traders confirmed for all our events. We will however info you of any changes via Facebook and Twitter. We also have the right to change traders and menus on the day.
