Taste and Liquor Indian Street Feast will spice up your life! On Saturday, November 30 explore the country’s many regional specialities; found in fancy restaurants, cheat eats favourites or handheld snacks. Sure, you can order another round of tikka masala from takeout and delivery, but why stay in when you can spend a day out at Quantum in Digbeth for some feasting fun?

Birmingham-Digbeth will get the honour of presenting the UK’s best Street Food vendors. From Gujarat to Punjab and Mumbai, British Asian street-food traders and snack bars will celebrate how South Indian food has expanded tenfold. While the Balti Triangle has long been renowned for its destination-worthy South Indian dining, lately, Indian Street Food has been giving it some serious competition.

What could be better than tucking into a Vegetarian Masala Dosa in winter? How about some melt-in-your-mouth chunks of Tandoori Chicken Wings in thick spicy sauce, and plenty of vegetables? Get stuck into a some Chilli Paneer with the perfect amount of spice, or hideaway in a corner with a Kati Roll from Kolkata. Share with friends a plate full of Bombay Alu Tikki Chaat. If you’re brave enough, fancy a game of Indian Pani Poori.
