Gin & Meat Festival on Saturday 25 March
The Gin and Meat Festival, was inspired by legendary Chef Julia Child, who said: “Red meat and gin…” were one of the reasons for her longevity. Celebrating this iconic fact, gin-fuelled shenanigans will take place from lunchtime, till late evening at No21 Digbeth, complemented by a global street-feast lead by an all female line-up, dishing up the best meat-dishes!
Manga Singh, MD of Taste and Liquor Says: “ While this list is just a start, these five female chefs are obliterating stereotypes and influencing the national street food landscape. Some are already respected names and powerful players in the industry; the rest are about to take the cooking world by storm. We’re proud to be the first street food organisers in the UK, dedicating a big festival to female food traders only, support these pioneering chefs of the future.” he ends.
Rebel Indian, Bad Man Burger, Spice It Up BBQ, Grill Bazil, Curros. You think you know the powerhouses behind these traders right? Wrong.
